I understand that a debit card will not be provided for use with an on demand savings account.

So without either physical access to a branch or on-line access to transfer the funds to another account, how can the funds be accessed?

The objective is to try avoid current account quarterly fees, where the minimum deposit/ turn over levels will not be met.
Thanks as always

Generally by transferring the money from your savings account to your current account.

you transfer the funds online to your current account. And then withdraw.
I'm with Ulster Bank. I bank online with them and have a Ufirst account. I have an old variable savings account that used to be an SSIA. I can transfer money in and out of this account online.

Oh sorry I see you are trying to avoid current account fees. I think the only way is money in the mattress then!!

OP while not ideal you could transfer money to a credit union account and make withdrawals there, but it would tie you to that location.

Thanks guys, looks like it can't be done, either pay fees with debit card or else physical visits to branch
