Greens making eejits of themselves challenging the Leaders' Debate in the High Court

I suppose Brendan you could say that Renua and the Social Democrats have no mandate from the people/were not elected as they stand this time out so where does their profile come from? Personally I don't think there's much point in a 'we're also a political party' debate anyway - just stick to Enda/Micheal/Gerry.

Secondly, have you heard anything about the Green Party election campaign on the news APART from this case being taken? I think 'bad' publicity is better than none at all, particularly when you're a party that no one wants to debate against*.

* In the context of no one wanting to be seen as anti-environment, local community etc.
 
I think I heard Ryan on the radio this morning but he seemed not to know the specifics of the new College Green layout. I admire most Greens*, but some of them are more opportunistic that old-FF/FGers.

*i just expect more from Greens, and know not to expect it from the other parties

To be fair, was it not just announced yesterday?

I think that Eamon Ryan is a good guy. He is in my constituency and will figure somewhere towards the top of my preferences. But this sort of messing that he was somehow the leader of a substantial party is nonsense.

I was at the Claire Byrne show last night. They had the Finance Spokespersons for FG, FF, SF and Labour and it was unwieldy enough. To include the others, they had contributions from the audience from Renua, Social Democrats, Greens, Anti Prosperity Alliance and Independent Alliance.

Not sure what the plans are for the Leaders' Debate. Perhaps they should have the 4 main parties. And then a programme after than for all the others?
