Deeds from BoS (Ireland) - how long to get ?

We're in the process of purchasing a house and waiting for the vendor's solicitor to receive the deeds from the bank. It seems that the vendor's mortgage is with Bank of Scotland (looking at the folio details).
Does anyone have any recent experience how long it usually take to get the deeds released ? Reading through other forums, it seems that BoS are very very slow to return the deeds....
