I received my tax allowances for 2016 and to my surprise there was a deduction for underpayment of taxes in 2011. I had 3 jobs in 2011 and the balancing statement shows my earnings and taxes paid for the 3 jobs.
On requesting a balancing statement for 2011 I notice that the income and PAYE data for one of my employers is not as per my final payslip for his time.unfortunately this company is now liquidated.
My total earnings and taxes paid on my P60 for 2011 was correct and tallied my 3 jobs in 2011.i have all my payslips etc from 2011 and I have verified that my income tax due for 2011 was fully paid/deducted from me by my employers.
I have never had any dealings with revenue so unsure how to approach this problem.
I am PAYE only employee, no other income.
Any help much appreciated.
