spa break two pals.

Any idea for spa break two girls...don't want to be in middle of nowhere. Not too far away from west dublin. Not dunboyne...did that last year. Even city centre fine to combine with night out

whats the budget? the marker is supposed to be good

The Spa in the Sheraton in Athlone is fab, about an hours drive from Dublin. Rooms and bar are very nice however the food isn't great. The Left Bank Bistro in the town is to die for. Also lots of other really nice restaurants.

Carton house is fab. Kilashee in naas also good. La stampa in town is also lovely. Kilashee do great deals though and their hydropool is fantastic.

Powerscourt in Wicklow have a fantastic spa and a little further afield in Kilkenny I can recommend the Oasis at the Lyrath

Castleknock was good

I went to the Buff day spa beside Stephens Green a few years ago. Lovely place, can be a bit noisy if there are people hanging around shouting outside, but the place itself is really well done. The Osperey (sp) in Kildare is supposed to be good.
