Laptop please ! Thank you though .

I know they play well on a ps4 . If it's not an option on a laptop I'll buy a cheaper laptop .

But it's a laptop that I am looking for .

A gaming laptop will cost a fortune.

2nd hand gaming laptop on donedeal - €1299:

Another one for €1200:

Both have 16GB of RAM - you'll need alot of RAM to play games.

A laptop for €650 will come with max of 4GB of RAM

The laptop you're looking at on the Dell website has 8GB of RAM. My Dell has 8GB of RAM and it still finds it hard running some of the software I have installed on it. I'd upgrade the RAM but it's not worth the spend.

Dell Alienware is the stuff for gaming ... but look at the prices €1800 to €2500.

There a 2nd hand one on donedeal (but no price):

Another here in Dublin for a minimum offer of €800:

I don't think you'll get much for gaming on a budget of €650.

Serious gaming machine will cost you serious money.

Paddy, you may be right about a serious gaming needing a serious machine but minecraft isn't serious gaming.

Here's the requirements and recommendation from Mojang. Most of the kids that I know that use Minecraft have pretty basic laptops.

I think most laptops will run Minecraft.Mine is an 4 year old Intel i3 and Minecraft runs just fine.

If a basic laptop will run Minecraft then you're well covered with your €650 budget. Go for the highest intel core you can afford and the highest RAM also.

I've made all my laptops on the Dell website but the Dell website is the most expensive place you can go to.

I've got my laptops from Dell because I like to customise them. To replace the one I have would cost me around €4k now.

Looking at the specs via the link you gave above the one you've chosen on the Dell site for €629 will do the job.

Thank you , she's only 11 years old so I'm not spending more than €650 .. Plus if it doesn't play minecraft , she will use it for school projects etc . She's not a serious gamer

I'll take my chance on the dell one

Hi Senni - if you hold off for a few more days you may be able to get that same Dell Laptop cheaper. Most likely they will have a sale Thurs/Friday.
