Loss assessors

Can anyone tell me - if I am unhappy with the performance of a loss assessor who I have hired to process an insurance claim, is there a regulatory body to which I can make a complaint?

Has anybody else had a bad experience with one of these people, and if so do you have any advice on how to resolve it?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Loss assessors are regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland. You need to complain to the loss assessor first, request a copy of their complaints procedure which will outline how they handle complaints. If you are not happy with the outcome contact the financial services ombudsman.
