I'm looking to find a mechanic in or around the city to service my car. I've gotten the run around from a lot of mechanics at this stage i.e. quote service for €180 incl VAT & Labour and arrive back to collect car and charge is €300 (had told them to ring me if there was anything extra to be done and I would/wouldn't give them the go ahead, never heard anything back, arrived to them with €180 as quoted, very embarrassing/frustrating situation)!
I am looking for someone that will do exactly as they have said at a reasonable price and won't take advantage of the fact that it's a woman dropping/collecting the car i.e. we can charge extra she won't know whether we did the work or not type thing.
It would be excellent if they could give me a car while they are servicing mine as I don't have access to a second car.
Your help would would be greatly appreciated.
