Ok this may be a wee bit confusing and online i cant get any info regarding my specific query so hoping someone can help.
In 2013 I was employed for many years and was on maternity leave when I was called by my employer and told i had no job to come back to (rather not get into the details of this as the matter is very messy and still ongoing). Due to my treatment i basically had a breakdown and was put on illness benefit by my doctor ever since as i was unable physically or mentally able to seek/be employed.
Im now in a much better place having over come my depression and anxiety but im also pregnant. So im now wondering if i am lucky enough to find employment will i be entitled to maternity benefit. I paid paye tax/prsi till end of 2012, was getting maternity benefit till mid 2013 and in receipt illness benefit from 2013 to present day.....anyone any info please?
