Multifocal contact lenses

Just wondering had anyone used "Multifocal contact lenses" and if so would they recommend. I have worn contact lenses in the past but as I get older my prescription changing and am currently wearing varifocal glasses but don't like them! My prescription is quite high -7.00 in both eyes and + 1.75 for reading.
Opticians suggested getting multifocal lenses but don't know anyone that wears them and would be interesting in any opinions/reviews! Have searched on google for reviews but very little out there.

I wear Coopervision multifocals and find them great, very comfortable to wear. I hate my multifocal glasses
