Looking for ideas on what best to do with setting up TVs in a new home. Basically looking to set up hd in kitchen , living room & one bedroom. Sky Multiroom is quite expensive. Many thanks

what options do you have Sky UPC?

Once UPC is in the house and you run the coax to all the rooms you at least get the analogue channels through a splitter.

If you put in sky and get a dish with a 4 port LNB standard now AFAIK you could put 1 or 2 paid boxes in and the rest as free to air.

Not sure about saorview I assume an external antenna will give them too.

Plenty of ads for free tv after an initial setup fee.

Then there is the smart tv options if you can get decent broadband.

Best advice is to run coax and network cables to all rooms and have options.

As above, but you can use combined Saorsat / Saorview boxes to get the best of available free channels with record/playback/rewind in one room, and simple live viewing in two rooms. Or switch to an 8 band LNB on the dish and then full functionality in four rooms.
