Scan a picture in a frame

Anyone know where i can get a framed picture photocopied. It is an old picture and i dont want to take it out of the frame. The frame is 21 by 24 ins wide while the picture is 15 by 19 ins. I am based in Shankill, Dublin.

If you bring it into a framer, they will take it out for you expertly and put it back again.

. . . or place it upsidedown on the glass of a photocopier . . . set the increase/reduce button as required . . . then press the copy button and presto the photocopy runs out onto the tray.

Take a photo of the photo? or scan it with your phone (if you have a fancy enough phone)?

Ok, anyone know where I can get it scanned? I know I can take pictures with cameras/phones/ etc, but that is not what I want. I need a scnner/pcopied with a large scan area, big enough to take a 21 by 24 ins frame.

Try any of the commercial printing places. It being behind glass may affect the quality of the scan, scanners are fine tuned to scan what's against the surface of its glass platen. The gap and extra glass layer may result in reflection issues.
