We’re in a chain and have sale agreed our own home and gone sale agreed on a new one. We’re at the point of getting the loan pack and going to sign contracts with solicitor. Things have been moving slowly and sometimes, there has been no reason for this. Is it appropriate for us to contact the estate agents for our home and the new home and suggest a move date for both? We’re pretty certain both sides are keen to move soon so it feels like some communication on this would be useful.
