Recommend for a treat, a great restaurant Barcelona

Hi, I would love if you could pass on your knowledge/experience and give me a recommendation for a really nice place you went to in Barcelona or heard of. I tried to book The Ticket restaurant there but it's sold out well into October by the looks of it. But that is the kind of thing I was looking for. A place with atmosphere, so I suppose busy, not stuffy with interesting food (we eat anything and everything). Tasting menu would be great either but 3 course is fine also. It doesn't have to be hugely expensive but we would pay for a nice restaurant. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Any recommendations at all as neither of us have been before and we are staying in Les Ramblas.

Oh and if you know of a place that has an amazing view to dine/drink, I would love that also :)

Thank you for that. It actually looks interesting especially since Picasso hung out there!

Just for anyone that may be interested, I found this Flamenco evening with buffet dinner, Flamenco Night at Tablao Cordobes for €79. Now fair enough, I know buffet means not fantastic fare but since tapas are so good in Spain, it can't be too bad, good reviews anyway but thought this would be something different/special so give this one a go.

Not only did Picasso hang out there, he designed the menu card, and you can see the original in the Hunt Collection in Limerick [broken link removed]

If you're looking for a place for a reasonable meal where you can people watch while having a glass of wine, check out just a stones throw away from Las Ramblas.
