Ground source heat pump

Hi, I was hoping that someone could advise me on a good ground source heat pump. We built our house about 3 years ago and haven't put in a heating system yet. we have it plumbed for a ground source heat pump but put off the final expenditure of purchasing the heat pump. The initial people who advised me have been slow to come back to answer my questions about installing their favoured model and then I heard that the Glen Dimplex heat pump is meant to be very good made in Germany and with a high spec. I was wondering if any one else out there has experienced them and if so what the pump is like, what I should look out for etc. Or if there is another manufacturer I should look at. thank you...

If they are slow to answer questions prior to making a sale, you can be sure they'll be impossible to get in touch with if you have problems down the line.

We put in a Nibe ground source heatpump in 2010. We are very happy with it, it does all our heating and hotwater.

Happiness is a cigar called Hamlet.
For this post to be useful you need to share the energy bills, house size etc and a relevant bench mark because unless you know the bench mark, the system could be grossly inefficient.

Am not trying toe be difficult here but I recently completed a project where 35% of solar thermal panel systems were not working, the clients had no relevant bench mark and were telling folk: unlimited free hot water :)
