Outsourced and maternity leave

Hi,
I wonder if anyone here could help me.
20 months ago my full team was outsourced to a different employer. At the time when we were outsourced our new employer was contracted to honour the same HR policies as the old employer for 2 years. 2 years are up on the 1st of November. In the old company we were entiled to paid maternity leave. Currently I'm pregnant and should start my maternity leave on 10th November which is 2 weeks before I'm due. My current employer does not do paid maternity leave. My question is- if I start my maternity leave before 1st of November will I be entitled to full maternity pay as in theory they need to honour old company's HR rules for 2 years?
