FLAT BROKE- RENTED APARTMENT- WHAT TO DO -PLEASE

My advice would be to sell the apartment, clear the mortgage, meet your upcoming income tax liability and use the balance to pay down a large chunk of your unsecured debt.

The net return on the apartment looks ok (nothing spectacular) but the bottom line is you really can't afford to keep this investment.

I agree, if you sell the apartment and use your savings in CU (11k) then you can completely clear all unsecured debt, be left with a PPR in positive equity of 115k and you'll have a healthy cash flow each month of 4.4k which should allow you to pay mortgage/childcare cost and live comfortably. No brainer in my opinion.

Thanks for the advice folks, I am going to delete this thread as I dont want too many people knowing all my business and I have a feeling couple of friends who read this figured out it is me!!!
