Very very shocked and saddened to hear of the death of an absolute legend of television, Bill O'Herlihy. He was without doubt the best sports broadcaster I ever saw and, especially in more recent years, I enjoyed the pre, mid, and post match discussions with him steering the way, than the match itself! When I think back over the highlights (and lowlights) of Irish sport in the past few decades, invariably I also think of the reaction of Bill and how he always managed to capture the mood of the nation and got the panel to tap into this. He was just a hugely positive person on tv and I'm sure the same in person.
