I bought a number of shares with PTSB at 6.01 cents per share. I have received a letter from PTSB stating that they have carried out a consolidation of its share holding. They have told me that I have received one new ordinary share of €0.50 for every 100 old shares held.
In addition they have announced an open offer to shareholders. I can choose to convert these open offer shares to ordinary PTSB shares on a one to one basis at a price of €4.50 per open offer share.
My question is should I take this offer up and if I do will my existing shares be worth €4.50. If I don't take ant action will my existing shares be very diluted and worth very little
