I was reading the SEAI application guide and in it the spec for the internal insulation grant
A summary requirement states < 0.27 U-value for internal insulation.
Along the stairs wall was thinking of keeping the insulation thinner but as some searching suggests that at least 82.5mm needed to meet that 0.27 spec.
Question is does anyone know if requirement would be for, say , the majority of house with <0.27 insulation or would any area >0.27 fail the inspection?
