Rockfield Apartments, Dundrum

Hi,

I've recently been viewing a couple of the apts. in this development. I'm looking to buy sometime in the near future in this area as i work in the city centre and the Bellaly Luas stop is perfect for commuting in and out.

But I'm wondering if anyone has any comments\opinions about this development in general. Good or bad ?

Handy location for commuting into town and you have the Dundrum Town Centre on your doorstep. The downside is you have the Dundrum Town Centre on your doorstep. It's probably the busiest shopping centre in the country and it can make it very difficult to get to Rockfield when traffic is bad. No idea what the apartments are like.

There is a slight reference to the Rockfield Apartments in this thread although it is quite dated at this stage.

You may find something useful in the board also.

I work in one of the office buildings in that complex. The standard of construction and finishes is very poor. There are ongoing plumbing issues, there was previously an issue with a leak in the roof, and overall the internal finishes were cheap and poorly done.

If you are considering purchasing an apartment there I would get a very thorough survey done.

Thanks, actually one of the apts i was loooking at was very poorly finished internally
