Hairline Crack in Boundary Wall - Wall Crumbles

Thankfully this never happened but if it did 'who' would have been responsible.

Work: Gas line installed under wall and meter put on wall.


I brought the crack to the attention of:

Bord gas surveyor that came out to quote me for the job.
My rgii gas installer.
Contractors that came out on behalf of bord gais to do the job.

I got nothing in writing, just the shake of the head.....

they would settle ( contractor that installed the gas line ) as its would only cost them more to defend this , where not talking a lot of money for a boundary wall , usually anything under 5k is settle out of court

thankfully the wall is fine, so never happened but who was to know, thanks for your interesting reply.
