VHI New VHI plan needed - finding it hard to choose

I am on teachers plan with VHI and ideally would like to stay on a plan with near enough the same level of cover as this but am hoping to find a plan that will also give some extra day to day cover - not so much GP cover but cover if I was sent for a scan as an outpatient or for an MRI, bloods, X-ray etc. and also consultant cover. I've been looking but there are so many plans. I'm with VHI for years and would prefer to stay there if possible. Any suggestions?? Thanks

The 2 best options worth considering with VHI, ticking all the boxes you mention are as follows;

1. Plan PMI 36 13; Price 1175pa; Similar hospital cover(only difference is 75 hospital excess) good outpatient cover.
2. Company Plan Extra Level 3; Price 1480pa; Same hospital cover, no hospital excess, higher outpatient cover.

The most important feature of a good plan with outpatient cover, is one that has a 1euro outpatient excess.
MRI scans are covered directly in VHI approved MRI Centres.
