I presume you may have had ICB issue.
Suggest.
Go online under Irish Credit Bureau and apply for your individual ICB.
On getting it you can see what the damage is.
Some of the lenders seem to be (cleaning) their ICB inputs a bit quicker than they need to.
Some of the lenders seem to be less inclined to just lob issues into ICB.
EG;
If it was a case that 5 years ago you were unemployed and lost 2 or 3 months but have got work , made savings and cleared arrears Mortgage Company will consider that you made creditworthy efforts as soon as possible.
