Replacement Car Key

Hi - can anyone help here? I'm looking for a recommendation on the best (cheapest) way to get a replacement car key. Its one of those electronic coded (immobilised) ones. We've just spent the weekend turning the place upside down and I've been in and out of every bin we own, to no avail. The best quote we've got so far is €450 (coming to home) but the car isn't worth much more, it's had a hard life so far :(. The providers known they have me in a bind, but perhaps there's another option here or do I just have to suck this up? Thanks !

Let AAM know make/year of car , you might get a good response, and get some option.

Most locksmith companies can supply spurious keys and then code them.This costs about 70 euro.

My cousin had the same problem as you.He got a new immobiliser key done by the locksmith in Northside Shopping Centre for 75 euro,it was for a 2002 Yaris.That was 2 year ago.

You can also get a complete spare key off of Ebay and then go to a car/auto electronics shop and get them to code the key for you.

Dont go to Toyota themselves as you will be hammered by them.
 
Not sure who you've tried, but AutoKey have been recommended here in the past.
