Should the State go ahead and build the hospital or should we wait until the site (or a site) is publicly owned?
My concern is why would an organisation which is founded on Catholic values, specifically those espoused by Mary Akenhead, and ultimately answerable to the Vatican, allow abortions etc in a hospital over which they have a high level of control?

I've a lot of time for Roisin Shortall when it comes to healthcare issues. I've a lot of respect for Ivana Bacik on matters of law (she's a Barrister). They, along with the entire Dáil Health Committee, are against the building of the hospital on land which is ultimately controlled by a foreign country. I agree with them.
